Kane Brewing Co - Sunday Brunch
Finally, after much anticipation from beer enthusiasts everywhere, Kane has released Sunday Brunch. For those who've never heard of this, it's an Imperial Milk Porter brewed with coffee, maple syrup, and cinnamon. It's the quintessential Sunday morning brunch beer. If you've ever had Morning Bell from Kane, but never the Sunday Brunch, it's similar. The Morning Bell is the Imperial Milk Porter brewed with New Jersey's own: Rook Coffee. Sunday Brunch brings in the addition of cinnamon and coffee syrup.
The result is a slightly sweeter version of Morning Bell that will surely satisfy anyone who enjoys the flavor of a darker beer. As you pour the beer, the notes of cinnamon and vanilla are prevalent. Once it settles in, the maple syrup becomes a little more obvious. As you drink it, you get that throwback flavor of the perfect waffles or pancakes. This beer, even at 9.2% truly delivers what is an unforgettable drinking experience.
Unfortunately, this beer isn't available year-round, but if you are ever lucky enough to get a taste of it or know someone who would want to share a bottle, you are in for a treat.
